Shevchuk goes into the book for a foul on Remy. Looked like a two-footed jump on his feet.

Nasri breaks forward and is in space but again the Ukraine defence close him down quickly. Giroud then caught offside.

This has been a good spell of play from the Ukraine and France have been pinned in their own half.

More good play from Yarmolenko down the right and his cross finds Konoplyanka but his shot in the box is blocked. Another half chance.

Yarmolenko breaks free and delivers a dangerous cross but France are able to smuggle it clear.

A great run and cross from Rotan and Edmar glances his header wide. That was the first good chance.

No goals here but Greece now lead Romania 2-1.

A poor ball from Nasri and it’s far too strong for Ribery. More frustration.

It’s been one of those tense affairs so far with very few chances and no clear ones.

The match resumes with a Ukraine free kick. Yarmolenko crosses into Zozulya but he can’t get a header onto it.

Decent spell of possession from France but no end product. Abidal and Zozulya run into one another and both hit the deck clutching their faces. They both slowly get to their feet.

This match yet to catch fire but France looks to possess the bigger threat coming forward.
