Meanwhile, Igor Stimac believes Wales are not just a one man team. He told his pre-match press conference: "Do not forget that Wales beat Scotland without Bale. Wales is not just Bale, they have other dangerous players."

Chris Coleman admits his team face a huge task against Croatia. He told reporters: “I said before this camp we would need the six points from both games if we were to do anything looking upwards. It’s a tall order, but we want to win the game. We played ever so well against Scotland. Now Croatia are one of the best teams in the group. They are one of the strongest teams in Europe. It will be a difficult game, but we can’t sit back, it’s a home game and we’ve got to try and win it."

Both Belgium and Croatia are hot favourites to battle it out for top spot in Group A - but Wales can still have a say if they win today. Coleman's side are currently seven points adrift of Croatia, in third place.
