Very poor performance from Wales, with the exception of the second half cameo by Bale. Serbia were the better side by some distance, although Wales' tendency to press the self-destruct button didn't help them in any way. Coleman has work to do to salvage this campaign.

I think the Cardiff City Stadium crowd is still reeling from that Bale freekick. What a way to lift a dismal evening that would've been!

An additional two minutes of stopppage time to be played.

Bale almost nets a sensational freekick, but Stojkovic tips the dipping effort from 30 yards over the bar. That would've been outrageous and looked destined to find the net.

YELLOW CARD: Ljubomir Fejsa (Serbia).

Serbia sub: Dusan Tadic OFF, Nanad Krsticic ON.

I've been impressed with the Serbian attacking line tonight, particularly Markovic and Tadic. Both are exciting prospects.

'There's only one Gareth Bale' rings round the Cardiff City Stadium. His introduction in the second half has been the only highlight for Wales on an otherwise dismal night.

Ivanovic shoots from within his own half, trying to catch out Myhill, but the keeper backtracks and catches rather easily. Ivanovic is desperate for a goal tonight!

Bale gets taken down and looks for the freekick but is told by the referee to get up.

Another corner is played into the box by Serbia and Wales look uncomfortable once again. This one comes to nothing but Coleman must sort out their defensive organisation.

The visitors play through the midfield of Wales but take the opportunity to run down the clock and knock the ball around the backline, under little pressure.

Serbia have been good value for their win and with Scotland winning in Macedonia tonight's Wales' hopes of finishing third look to be a bit fanciful.

Bale comes forward, beating three men before winning a corner on the left side. He's made a difference, for sure.

Both sides are going through the motion, with the exception of the odd dribble by Bale.

Ramsey gets caught in position and Bellamy, who was in a good position, isn't happy with the Arsenal midfielder.

The set piece comes to nothing but when the ball drops to the edge of the box Fejsa's stride takes him on to it. However the midfielder slashes his effort well over the target.
