Evening all! This game is an absolute monster! The two top teams in Group B meet, split by three points; if Portugal win, they qualify for the World Cup, any other result and Switzerland are making plans. That's not the end of the story, of course - there are play-offs to be played-off - but with Italy, Croatia and maybe France lurking, no one will much fancy that route. So here we go!

Shaqiri plays the ball infield - there's no threat - but Eliseu shoves him in the back anyway, and is booked. Foolish behaviours.

Belarus have pulled one back in France; Netherlands have doubled their advantage against Sweden.
    43'
Andre Silva leaps for a high ball and misses, but behind him, Freuler, already booked, controls with his arm. The ref turns a blind eye.

GOAL! Portugal 1-0 Switzerland (Djourou own goal) Eliseu crosses brilliantly from the left and schar, sliding towards hiw own net can't get a touch. So Sommer comes out as Joao Mario lunges ... the attacker gets a flick, and Djourou can't get out of the road, knocking it home.
    41'
Bernardo drives a long, er, diag for Ronaldo, who's timed his run well. But he can't make anything of it.
    40'
Unless there's a fault with my ears or my telly, Garry Birtles has just advised Cristiano Ronaldo on how to score goals.
    38'
Ronaldo comes in off the right and flings himself into a shot. it's blocked.

Giroud has added to Griezmann's opener - France lead Belarus 2-0 and are off to Russia.
    35'
Freuler puts a ball into the box for Seferovic to chase, and Eliseu comes across ... Pepe too. By the look of things they both clip him, but the ref reckons not. I've no idea why.
    34'
That's not only just the closest we've been to a goal but the only time we've been remotely close to a goal.

Ronaldo dribbles across the face of the box from left to right, trips over, and claims a foul. It's no such thing, but it distracts the defenders, so Moutinho is able to curve a pass with the outside of his boot into the path of Bernardo, inside the box on its left. He should go low to the far post but goes high to the near, and Sommer beats away.
    32'
Apparently the Netherlands' goal came from a penalty, after Victor Lindelof booted a clearance into his own hand.
    31'
Bernardo tees Moutinho up for a cross, and he, very deliberately, guides it into Sommer's midriff.
    29'
Elsewhere, France lead Belarus and Netherlands lead Sweden.

Freuler throws his arms wide to trap a ball on his chest, it kicks off the turf more than he expected and flicks an arm. The ref penalises him so he kicks the ball away and is booked, because this was an offence far worse than Silva's high, dangerous challenge a few minutes ago.
    27'
Switzerland win a free-kick and Rodriguez sticks it to the far post, where Schar nods it back ... Pepe does well to nod clear.

Ronaldo digs out a cross from the by-line after a poor pass, but no one's running to the near post. Seconds later, Djourou stretches to clear and Andre Silva flies at him, landing with studs and somehow avoiding a booking. Treatment is duly administered.

I think I might speak Portuguese.
