Evening all, and welcome to a huge game. It always was, but a draw in the Ireland-Austria scuffle presents an opportunity for both sides. If Serbia can win, they'll be strong favourites to qualify as group winners; if Wales can win, it's going to be a thriller of a denouement.

Gunter stretches down the right and tries to nip around Vukovic, anticipating contact as he goes down. The ref says no foul, and there follows quite some disappointment.
14'
Neither side can get much going so far. Wales will be satisfied with that.
12'
Rukavina jumps into the back of Edwards, giving Wales a chance to put a ball into the box. Ramsey will try, curling towards the far post, but overhits his effort which drifts tamely behind.
10'
Good run down the left from Kostic, past Richards and crossing for Mitrovic in the middle of the box ... Williams has lost him, but Davies does well to head clear.
9'
Not very hospitable of them.
8'
Serbia have started without the fury I expected. But her comes Kostic driving at the heart of the Wales defence, only for Chester to block him off.
6'
Bit of possession for Serbia, but Allen is in quickly to challenge and Wales quickly hump downfield. This is now a good start for Wales.
5'
For now at least, Ramsey and Edwards are both pushing on.

Wales are pushing on - I didn't expect that - and Gunter forces a corner down the right. Ledley mooches over to take it, and curls in a decent one, which Edwards runs into, heading just wide.
2'
Edwards goes down the left and slings over a cross, but it's easy for Stojkovic to claim.

Aaaaand we're off!

The Serbians all go for their anthem, and the ground is absolutely rammed.
19:44
It's arms around for the anthem on the Wales bench. Pretty sure football coped well for 125 years without that.
19:42
Dean Saunders reckons two weeks without football and you lose your sharpness, so is concerned that Wales have been relaxing. He draws a comparison with Ireland, who've played friendlies and were strong in the last 20 this afternoon.

MAKES YOU THINK!
19:33
Looking at that Serbia team, it's impossible to escape the impression that Wales are big trouble.
19:29
By the look of things, he's playing close to Vokes tonight; I wonder if that's the best use of him. On the one hand, he's close to goal, and as easily the best player in this side, that's what they need. But on the other, he's good with space in front of him.
19:28
Aaron Ramsey thinks this is a massive game. More news as I get it.
19:20
Chris Coleman says that Wales can't afford to lose tonight; I'd agree. Can they manage it without Gareth Bale?
19:07
As Theresa May would say, "I'm clear:" TogetherStronger means nothing. "I'm clear:" on the other hand.
