Meanwhile, Wales are unbeaten in their last five competitive matches and have won all of their last three games against Belarus (all competitions). They should claim victory tonight.

Not only are Belarus struggling to score goals, they are leaking them at the back too. They have conceded two or more goals in eight of their last 10 World Cup qualifiers.

The omens are good for Wales this evening. Belarus have lost all of their last six World Cup qualifiers. What’s more, they have failed to find the back of the net in five of those six games.

The shot from Williams was a tame one, but Chernik made a mess of it and the ball ended up in the back of the Belarus net. Wales have a two-goal cushion here after just 20 minutes of this match!

Moore scored the winner for Wales in their last World Cup qualifier against Estonia in October. He is a big miss this evening. Without Moore, Wales lack purpose in attack.

Kieffer Moore is missing for Wales this evening and that is a big blow to their chances. The imposing frontman is an important part of the way they play in the attacking third.

Belarus are bottom of Group E with six defeats from seven matches. They made Wales work hard for three points in the reverse fixture in the group, though, only losing 3-2.

This is a match that Wales should win. They certainly have the individual quality to see off Belarus in front of their own supporters. This could be a momentous evening for the national team.

Wales have two matches to match or better Czech Republic's tally from their final qualifier to secure second place in Group E. Both are locked on 11 points but Czech Republic only have one qualifier left, albeit against Estonia.

ROBERTS... just wide! That was a big chance for Wales to double their early advantage, but Roberts sends his shot wide of the far post after a Bale long throw-in was knocked on by Ramsey.

This has been an excellent start by Wales. What is impressive is that they are still pressing even though they have the early lead. They want to make this emphatic.
