Australia concede another free-kick in a bad position with Hernandez tripped by Risdon Mbappe will cross it in to Griezmann whose glancing header on is straight at Brighton keeper Ryan.

GOOD SAVE: France break, Pogba's pass falls to Griezmann whose deflected half volley from outside the area is saved low to his left by Ryan.

France have a free-kick around 25 yards in a central position after Mbappe is clipped by Milligan with his back to goal. Pogba fancies having a pop, and his curling effort is straight at the keeper.

Australia have played 12 games more than France in qualifying. Coach Bert Van Marwijk has urged his side to show "guts" today.
“We know France are one of the best in world,” he said. “If you see their results in the last year they are not always stable, but they have a chance to win the World Cup. But it is not always the best players who win prizes, often the best team.

Deschamps said his team are ready to bite into the World Cup as if it were a delicious apple. He also played down Mbappé's comments that playing with Griezmann was like being caught up in a traffic jam.
“We don’t want them too spread out of course,” he said. “They do have that freedom but can’t be all in the centre. We have worked on that. The players choose how they want to use the space.”
