Terrific from Iceland. Gudmundsson sends it deep to a free man at the back post. He knocks it down but the shot is blocked. Eventually Modric puts it out for a throw that is comfortably cleared.

A good ball finds Sævarsson as he burst forward from right-back but Croatia are able to put it behind for a corner.

Decent effort from Sigurdsson but Kalinic knew where he was going and got across well.

Good spell of pressure from Iceland. Sigurdsson stands over a free-kick about 35 yards out.

He clips it into the box but it is cleared.

Now Hallfredsson wins a free-kick about 20-25 yards out on the left, favours Sigurdsson...

Corner for Iceland is headed wide by Magnússon, the player who won the flick from the earlier throw.

Of course an Iceland throw can be just as dangerous as a corner.

The front post flick is won but there's no-one at the back post.

Corluka has made an excellent tackle to prevent a corner but he's taken a football in the face as a reward.

For their part Croatia seem pretty happy just to keep the ball for the majority of this match. They know that a draw sees them go through top of the group.

Sigurdsson is nearly played through by Finnbogason but the pass is intercepted.

From the corner Perisic is furious as he feels he was being held. No doing and Croatia have a corner which Iceland clear.

First of all they've got a corner to defend as Perisic's cross is easily put out of play.

I doubt Iceland's players will know the Argentina score yet.

However they will soon find out and that will surely increase their attacking efforts.

There's been a goal in the other game and Lionel Messi has put Argentina ahead with a lovely goal.

As things stand a goal for Iceland would put them through.

On the pitch Pjaca is given a yellow for that incident with Bjarnason.

Bit of concern now as Bjarnason is done following a clash with Pjaca's elbow.

It was totally accidental but that didn't look good for the Iceland man.

You can see what Iceland are doing and it nearly works.

They win the ball in their half and Sigurdsson gets the ball but he can't see Bjarnason in acres of space in the left and the mood breaks down.

Pjaca bursts in from the wing but just as he gets towards the box he goes back under pressure from Gunnarsson.

Croatia want a free-kick but the referee says no foul.

Croatia now have a chance to send in their own low cross, this time from Modric, but his ball in is too close to the keeper and he gathers well.

Sigurdsson gets free down the right and tries to square it into the box but Croatia hold firm and clear well.

Croatia already dominating the ball early as you would expect.

Iceland are going to have to rely on catching them on the counter or at set-pieces.
