Vettel again reduces his time yet further to 1:40.696 and it looks like it's going to be a Red Bull one-two in this final practice session

Vettel's team-mate Webber joins him at the top of the sheets with a lap of 1:41.53 with just under five minutes still to go

Martin Whitmarsh is having a chat with Jensen Button in the pit lane with the latter still sitting in his car. The McLaren team principle quickly moves across to Lewis Hamilton and has a chat with him too. The tyres have been taken off Hamilton's car by the way

Sebastian Vettel is sat in his car in the pit lane although there is huge amounts of smoke swirling around his lap as the mechanics do some running repairs

Hamilton comes back into the pit lane, swiftly followed by team-mate Jenson Button, as both complain of vibrations in the car. The guys clearly have cold tyres as the mechanics bring out machines that basically look like huge hair-dyers to blow hot air on those front tyres in particular

The session is underway, although it's not greeted by many cars moving out on to the track - the drivers are taking it slowly this morning ahead of what is an incredibly important weekend. It's this to decide this year's world championship
