We're back at 10am on Saturday for the third and final free practice session, with qualifying to follow at 1pm. See you then.

There it is, Hamilton sets the fastest time of the session with Button second. A good day for McLaren.
1'
No change on the timesheets - the teams trying out some heavy fuel loads.
4'
Everybody out on the track - everyone has done 20 laps or more except Liuzzi.
6'
How they stand: 1-Hamilton, 2-Button, 3-Alonso, 4-Massa, 5-Webber, 6-Vettel, 7-Schumacher, 8-Sutil, 9-Di Resta, 10-Kobayashi.
8'
OK, everybody except Jerome D'Ambrosio is out on the track.
12'
Ferrari have still not got Alonso's car back - will they have time to get him back out? Meanwhile, Red Bull are working on Vettel's car.
15'
We have 18 cars out on the track, but little in the way of quick laps being set. Yellow-striped tyres still being used, though.
18'
Alonso's car has been cleared away and we're back at full speed.

Crash! Alonso has gone off at turn one now! He has hit the barriers a few metres down from Vettel. He goes in backwards and has some damage top the suspension. Alonso hops out of his car and trots back to the pits.
22'
Vettel is in no rush to get back to the pits - he is just standing at turn one watching.
24'
Felipe Massa is told over the team radio he is "stopping too much" at turns 18 and 20, presumably meaning he is giving the brakes a hard time.
27'
Red Bull are finally going to fetch Vettel's car... the marshals are wheeling the machine back towards his garage.
29'
Sparks fly up off the bottom of Massa's car as he takes a little too much kerb. He is sixth at the moment.
30'
Vettel's car has been parked at the end of the pit lane, but Red Bull appear in no great hurry to pick it up. A bit odd...
31'
That's Vettel's fourth Friday prang of the year, and chimes with his claim that he has no intention of backing off this season.
33'
Vettel is out of the car and sprints back to the pits. He gave the barrier a bit of a whack going in sideways, but there does not seem to be too much damage. He got wedged in there and needs a crane to lift his machine clear.

CRASH! It's Sebastian Vettel! He goes off at turn one - he's absolutely fine, and his car looks basically OK.
34'
Both McLaren's still have the softer 'development' tyre on...
