So the big winners on the last lap were Raikkonen, Ricciardo and Di Resta. Miserable day for Mercedes in the end, with Rosberg down in 12th.

The top 10: Button, Vettel, Hamilton, Webber, Alonso, Kobayashi, Raikkonen, Perez, Ricciardo, Di Resta

Contact between Rosberg and Perez in turn 13, and an almighty scrap for the line.

There was some late drama for the points positions lower down.

'The car is beautiful and she is fast!' says Button.

Vettel, Hamilton round out the top three.

ACCIDENT! MALDONADO CRASHES ON THE FINAL LAP! Extraordinary - he appears to be alright - but he loses all his points.

Final lap now - Button heading towards the chequered flag for a third Australian GP triumph!

Perez struggling, and Rosberg, Kobayashi and Raikkonen are jostling behind him.

Hamilton sets a 1:29.1 - where did that come from? Fastest lap of the race by some way - and that should end Webber's hopes.

The stats show that if Perez does finish seventh, where he is now, he'll have gained 15 places. Terrific day for Sauber.

Into the final three laps - just 5.6 seconds separate the top four, but it's all pretty static.

Maldonado is not giving up on passing Alonso, by the way, but the Ferrari is hanging on.

Hamilton looks to have conceded second place to Vettel - the German has opened up his advantage. Webber, however, may not have given up hope of a podium finish.

Just five laps remaining - are we in for any late drama in Melbourne?

Rosberg gets ahead of Kobayashi! Mercedes looking to salvage something from a disappointing afternoon.

Webber's best finish in Australia, I believe, is 5th - so he loosk set to improve on his record at his home GP. Alonso a full seven seconds away from the scrap for 2nd-4th.
