Grosjean had a KERS issue with his car which is now fixed according to team boss Eric Boullier.

Alonso pits so looks like that’s it for him until FP2.
5'
Lewis Hamilton has done less laps than the other big hitters. He’s experimenting with different set-ups.
6'
Massa and Alonso love it at Bahrain’s Sakhir circuit. They’ve won five grands prix there between them!
7'
Only half the cars out on track at the moment. Looks like that may be it for the times at the top.

@OfficialSF1Team: The crew is working on both cars at the moment. Set up changes on Nico's car and a new rear wing for Esteban's car.
9'
Vettel has been advised to back off a little as his brakes are getting a little hot.
10'
So with ten minutes of the session remaining the two Ferraris are still quickest with Massa leading. Rosberg is third for Mercedes from Vettel, Di Resta, Button, Webber and Sutil.

@insideFerrari: Massa improves after two laps, a time of 1:34.487 which is worth P1. The two Ferraris are leading for the moment...but its just a Friday ;-)
20'
Di Resta has a bit of a slide at the top of the hill. There’s a big cross wind up there. He has been advised that his tyres are holding up well though.
22'
The track is extremely busy at the moment and will be until the end of the session. There may be some significant moves yet.
24'
The question is, will Ferrari allow Massa to win again if he’s the quicker man?
26'
And Massa goes quickest with a 1:34.407. The Brazilian loves it here, winning in both 2007 and 2008.
29'
So Massa on the pace immediately with only his second timed lap.
