Right, that's race number two in the books. What a strange one it was as well, with some very exciting bits and then some very odd bits and just a heartbreaking ending. Congratulations to Hamilton and Mercedes - next stop Shanghai.

Time for the national anthems of the winning driver, and the winning team.

Lewis Hamilton is saying very sweet things to Charles Leclerc after they've been weighed. He tells him he'll have a very long career and not to worry too much about the result because he drove magnificently.

"I don't know what to say," are Leclerc's words. Nobody seems to know what to say to him either.

"That was extremely unfortunate for Charles - he drove such a great race," are Hamilton's first words over the radio to his team.

Bottas comes in second, and Charles Leclerc - poor Charles Leclerc - finishes third.

He can't have expected that at any point this weekend prior to the last 15 minutes.

Yes, the safety car will lead everyone home.

That means a possible safety car then...which might keep Leclerc on the podium.

Daniel Ricciardo reports that everything just cut out. But it happened to both cars. At almost exactly the same time. How strange.

Hang about, both Renaults have just gone off.

It's a Mercedes one-two now as Bottas moves past.

Leclerc is going to try and persist to the end - but does he have enough power there to stay in the podium places?

"What's happening?" asks Leclerc. Answers come there none. Hamilton is approaching.

Leclerc, with such a good margin at the front, is reporting engine problems and says he's struggling for pace.

Sixth place is much sought-after - the Renaults are going for it between them, with Nico Hulkenberg coming out on top, with newer tyres.

"The tyres. Box." That's the succinct summary from the German over the radio. He's also missing a chunk of front wing too.
