The Lotus duo look reasonably placed if they can get third row or higher tomorrow. The strength will be their race pace.

Some teams conducting pit stop practice at the end of the session but most teams still out.

As the session draws to a close it’s Vettel from Webber, Grosjean, Massa and that man Vergne. Should end that way.

It’s been an encouraging session for Jean-Eric Vergne. He’s fifth quickest with Ricciardo 16th.

Replays seem to confirm that Vettel’s problem occurred in the same spot as Van der Garde went off and it happened over the kerbing.
