Lewis Hamilton fastest then in second practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Vettel, Webber, Massa, Alonso, Schumacher, Rosberg, Button, Grosjean and Di Resta. That is the top 10. Hamilton winning FP1 and FP2. The 2008 world champion looks well positioned to win this race, but what will happen when the rains come? They are expected tomorrow.

Look like that is the lot for today with Hamilton, Vettel, Webber, Massa and Alonso in the leading positions.
4'
Time ticking down as Vettel continues in the 1.20s. Red Bulls on a heavy fuel load. Hamilton very impressive in these two practice sessions today.
6'
Felipe Massa is apparently running faster than Alonso at the moment. Obviously, different fuel loads.
8'
Just a word on Schumacher who lies sixth just ahead of Rosberg. An impressive enough showing from Mercedes today.
10'
Hamilton continues to revel in consistency with a repetitive run of 1.19.5s. Alonso remains in the high 1.19.9seconds. I think Hamilton may be top man after this second practice session.
12'
Heavy rain is forecast from Saturday afteroon until Sunday which is going to make this utterly different than today. Thunderstorms also predicted.
15'
A bit of a frantic jostle for position in these closing 15 minutes or so with everyone expect Pic - and the two HRTs obviously - jostling for position. Hamilton continues to hold sway.
17'
Hamilton is running on a heavier fuel load and is around 5.5 seconds slower than his previous best on different tyres.
20'
Pic has parked his Marussia on a suitable grassy spot somewhere in the track. That will do him for the day.
23'
Massa up to fourth. His fellow Brazilian Bruno Senna down in 13th spot. Senna making his debut here. Half a second quicker than his Williams team-mate Pastor Maldonado.
26'
Jenson Button getting some adjustments made to his McLaren in the garage. Kobayashi takes a huge jump over a kerb. Must have felt that when he came back to earth.
28'
Vettel rips through the first sector. This is impressive pace from the German, but he can't scramble beyond Hamilton who continues to lead by 0.274 seconds.
30'
Schumacher clambering up through the field as he docks in fourth place - 0.628 seconds behind Hamilton.
33'
We are watching Vettel back out now. He has a clear road ahead of him and knows what he has to beat.
35'
Alonso up to fourth - 0.581s down on Hamilton. Webber remains second tucked in behind Hamilton.
38'
Hamilton fastest in the first and second sectors, but just lacking some pace in the third sector. He would be keen to get into the 1:13s...where we were last year.
40'
Hamilton throws in a rip-snorting lap of 1:14.026 to move to the top of the pile as the fatest so far. Superb stuff from the British hopeful.
42'
Elsewhere, Ricciardo manages to pick up three-tenths of a second on the quicker tyre with a handy 1:15.902 leaving him 15th.
