Big win for Webber - the 2010 winner here - and his second race victory of the season. He closes the gap to Alonso in the championship battle.

Grosjean's 'what might have been?' race ends in sixth, then it's Schumacher, Hamilton, Senna and Button in the top 10.

Alonso second, Vettel third, then Massa and Raikkonen

MARK WEBBER WINS THE BRITISH GRAND PRIX!

It's now all about Webber, who eases through the last corners on the way to victory...

And Hulkenberg loses his place trying to get back to Senna - that allows Button through for a point!

Still Hulkenberg, Senna and Button wrangle for ninth - but Senna gets him on the outside!

Raikkonen makes life easier for Massa with a slight slip-up. Runs wide, loses some precious time.

Massa urged on by his engineers to attack Vettel, but the gap is three seconds. He should be more concerned about Raikkonen behind him...

The strategy today was to start on softs, get rid of them and stay on hard tyres for the rest of the race. Those who didn't (Alonso and Hamilton) have paid the price.

Three laps remaining and the fastest man on track is Kimi Raikkonen with a 1:34.728.

They've been talking about contract negotiations with Webber at Red Bull next season - this would give those a nice nudge along...

Alonso now has 4.3 seconds of a gap to Vettel in third. That might just be enough.

HE'S GOT HIM! WEBBER SWEEPS ROUND ALONSO AT THE LOOP and this race is now his.

Sure enough, Schumacher breezes past Hamilton. Hamilton will not be happy.

Not much time left in this race, but time enough. Webber stalking Alonso, not taking any risks.

Hamilton struggling in 7th, meanwhile - Schumacher is within a second of him. At least there is a nine-second gap to Hulkenberg in 9th.

The gap now within half a second. The weather is set fair, it's over to you, Mark.

Webber knows this race is there for the taking now - a big swing in the race, and in the championship as well.
