Hamilton ahead of Grosjean, Perez, Vettel, Alonso, Rosberg, Webber, Raikkonen, Kobayashi and Massa as the extra pit pays off for McLaren.

AND HAMILTON MAKES IT SEVEN FROM SEVEN IN MONTREAL!

Ricciardo gets a yellow flag for spinning at Turn 8, rejoining at an eight second loss. Vettel overtakes Alonso as Hamilton closes on history...

Vettel weathers a hit of the wall with his fron right but it doesn't stop him from clocking the fastest lap as Alonso loses out to Perez and falls off the podium! The early pit strategy has backfired courtesy of three DRS charges.

Now it's Perez closing on Alonso, who may end up off the podium. Webber holds seventh behind Rosberg with Raikkonen eighth, Kobayashi ninth and Massa 10th as we enter the final three tours.

Perez responds to Massa with a 1'16.772 as Alonso falls foul to DRS once again! Grosjean takes second!

Vettel now fifth behind Perez. Massa sets a new fastest lap at 1'16.828. Grosjean has closed to within 3.7 of Alonso and the Spaniard's decline may not be over yet.

Hamilton tries a bold pass at the hairpin which doesn't work, but the DRS does on the outside line! Hamilton re-takes the lead.

Vettel pits and will come out behind the accelerating Grosjean. Hamilton closes the gap to 0.4 seconds on Alonso.

Vettel takes the submissive route and allows Hamilton ahead! DRS engaged, the German knew he had zero chance of fending off the super-charged McLaren. 2.1 seconds between Alonso and a record seventh winner in seven F1 races.

Outside the points are di Resta in 11th, Hulkenberg 12th, Maldonado 13th, Ricciardo 14th and Vergne 15th. Hamilton gains to within a DRS move of Vettel.

Hamilton clocks a series of fastest laps and is now witbhin 4.3 seconds of the lead!

Rosberg back into sixth after the Massa stop as the Ferrari crew sweat over whether Alonso can hold off the gaining Hamilton on his hugely worn Pirellis.

Grosjean's pace - 14.6 behind Alonso, will all but guarantee there will be no second Ferrari stop. Massa pits from sixth, he's followed on the sidelines by Ricciardo.

Hamilton closes to 8.9 behind Alonso, keeping up the second per lap rate. Behind the leaders are Perez in fifth, Massa in sixth and now Rosberg back in seventh.

Hamilton's gain at a second per lap at present. Good progress. Rosberg had a crack at fifth but cut the corner, forcing him to give position back to Massa. The move allowed Perez to nip ahead of him as well...

It's looking like Alonso and Vettel will have to hold out - a pit will likely end their chances of victory now.

Hamilton is closing on Alonso and Vettel even if the duo attempt to stave off another pit.

Third stop for Button, who falls to 16th. Soft tyres now on.

Webber makes a final pit and comes out behind Rosberg but ahead of one-stopper Raikkonen. Hamilton is 13.1 seconds behind Alonso.
