LEWIS HAMILTON WINS! That's it for the race. Hamilton has won it. He had won thing to do - take the lead - and he did it in the first lap. The fact that Ferrari fell apart with internecine struggles have helped, and helped Bottas who merely had to drive honestly rather than brilliantly. Vettel takes third, with his seniority giving him an early and unbeatable advantage over Leclerc, who takes fifth. In fourth is Verstappen, who took advantage of the failures ahead of him with some aggressive driving. Gasly whips off the fastest lap from Vettel with his final run.

We're into the penultimate race. Bottas is more than seven seconds behind, and Gasly is now gunning for the fastest lap.

There are three laps left, with Hamilton set to move onto 68 points. Let's see if this holds.

Norris has withdrawn after a tough race. Four pitstops have done for him, he never recovered from the Kvyat clash at the start of the race.

Leclerc is now saying his gears are back working properly.

Leclerc is complaining about a technical problem with his gears, which might explain his poor finish to the race.

There are six-and-a-bit laps left, with Bottas unable to get into a comfortable lead over Vettel. That has left Hamilton to chase his own fastest lap if he cannot relax.

Hamilton is asking his side if Bottas are under pressure or not, perhaps negotiating a bit of an easy end for the pair. Bottas is almost five seconds clear so is still unable to ease off.

Nico Rosberg, too, is sympathetic to Leclerc's problems. It seems Hamilton-Bottas-Vettlel-Verstappen-Leclerc is how it will finish.

Here's a slightly more ribald take on it.

Leclerc, on those fresh tires, needs to make up a second a lap on Verstappen. He has been sacrificed by Ferrari today.

Hulkenberg was taken into the pits because of an unspecified problem, apparently. Not quite sure how that is news, but that's what the commentators give us.

Kvyat has to retire after a race of being in the wars.

Leclerc comes in after he is passed by a DRS-assisted Vettel, with a fresh set of mediums. Verstappen goes ahead.

Verstappen is starting to attack both the Ferraris with 15 laps to go.

Bottas is finding it tough to squeeze past Leclerc, who could - I think - hang on until the rest of the race if he needed to. Bottas is ultimately able to pass him on a straight, though.

A few laps back. Hamilton asked about the bonus point for fastest lap, so with the road empty ahead of him, he might put some extra effort in.

In comes Vettel for a change. That means that he shoulld be able to press Bottas a tad, which mean Mercedes might now consider a change of their own to be the right decision. It seems Bottas and Hamilton will stack the pistop. That was brilliant stuff as Hamilton and Bottas fly through the stop, with Leclerc in second behind Hamilton.

Everyone appears to have been struck by deep ennui... until Verstappen pits, allowing Leclerc to pull ahead. That stop was just 2.3 seconds.

Hamilton extends his lead to almost five seconds now. Vertstappen is just 3.5s ahead of Leclerc, who could at least get his fourth place back.
