Vettel should be able to squeeze one final lap in as he crosses the line with 30 seconds left.

Force India's Di Resta is seventh... well done that man!

Button flies round in 1m25.191s to improve at the top of the timesheets again as Vettel goes second.

Everyone's out there on a crowded track as this session draws to a close... just Ricciardo and Buemi abstaining at the moment.

Alonso now is the man to beat after the Spaniard puts in a 1m25.784s!

Hamilton claims fourth on his first flyer on softs as Vettel re-emerges from the pits....

Six minutes left and Massa goes quickest... but his stay at the top of the timesheets is a brief one as Button puts in a 1m25.942s to go top.

Alonso now with a 1m26.387s to slot in behind Vettel in second.

Still Vettel's best time is the one to beat today...

Button heads out on softer tyres with just under 10 minutes of the session remaining.

More on Grosjean's promotion for the final two races of the season: Team boss Eric Boullier says it is an "appropriate time" for the the Frenchman to "put his skills to the test".

Hamilton puts in just one flyer on hard tyres before returning to the McLaren garage.

Hamilton's down in 12th at the moment, but the McLaren man is improving.

And then the Australian puts in a 1m26.466s to go second behind his Red Bull team-mate Vettel.
