Then comes Webber, Button and Massa to complete a McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari top six

Lewis Hamilton has been the quickest this morning ahead of Vettel and Alonso

The chequered flags are out and everyone has finsihed the first practice session

Everyone heading back into the pits now, Hamilton is back in there and out of the car.

Vettel is still out there and is being told he can experiment as the tyres are not going to be used again

Kobyashi and Hulkenburg are still heading round but neither are on a particularly quick lap

Schumacher still heading round but doesn't look like he will improve on his time

Hamilton still pushing, maybe a little too hard as he locks up badly and seems to have damaged his front right tyre quite badly

Schumacher and his team have a small disagreement over the team radio as to the problems with his over-steet on his Renault, neither driver not team will be happy with his 8th place

Hamilton has really got the bit between his teeth this weekend it seems as that was incredibly aggresive for a practice session

Hamilton and Alguersuari look like they are racing on the final lap of the actual race as the Brit is desperate to improve his time, the Spaniard gets in his way though and slows him down

It is a McLaren, Red Bull, Ferrari top three currently and that makes for anexciting race come Sunday as hopefully no one team will dominate

Button sets a fastest time for the first sector

Di Resta is looking to have a clear run through now after he let Button pass on the last lap, he is down in 13th at the minute

Button can't improve on it and remains in fifth

Button and Di Resta were not too far away from each other there as Button is still looking to improve on his fairly pedestrian time

There is a lot of traffic out on track and it may be difficult for any great times to be set

Just four tenths of a second separates the top five currently, it bodes for a good close race
