Massa goes fourth - ahead of Alonso!

Hamilton has blown it! A poor sector two, and he stays second.

Vettel 1:19.815 - fastest! Hamilton still on track...

Alonso goes slower, stays third for now...

Hamilton even faster than Vettel in sector one! But Vettel goes purple in sector two...

Alonso clocks a 28.5 first sector, but Vettel goes purple! 28.4...

Right... it's go. Alonso is the first man over the line...

And here come all 10 cars for a last-gasp blast...

How they stand: 1-Hamilton, 2-Vettel, 3-Alonso, 4-Button, 5-Massa, 6-Webber. The other four yet to come out.

Vettel goes second and Webber way down in sixth - it's looking good for Lewis Hamilton.

Button is slower than Hamilton to the tune of half a second, while Massa cannot threaten either.

So, they are starting to come round on their hot laps - Alonso 1:20.365, Hamilton 1:19.978! And he was oversteering...

The first man out is Fernando Alonso, followed by Lewis Hamilton. They can do two stints if they want.

The final top 10 shootout is under way! This should be really close, and it promises to go right to the wire.

Into Q3: 1-Alonso, 2-Button, 3-Webber, 4-Vettel, 5-Massa, 6-Hamilton, 7-Rosberg, 8-Schumahcer, 9-Sutil, 10-Perez. Hats off to Sergio Perez for that performance...

Knocked out: 11-Di Resta, 12-Petrov, 13-Kobayashi, 14-Heidfeld, 15-Barrichello, 16-Alguersuari, 17-Maldonado.

A manic finish, as Schumacher climbs into the top 10 - Petrov stays 12th, and Kobayashi also cannot improve. Di Resta unlucky to be pushed into 11th.

Out comes the chequered flag, seconds after Sutil goes eighth - and Di Resta 10! But more to come, including Schumacher and Petrov...
