So that’s the session over. Webber tops the times form Hamilton, Vettel, Senna and Alonso. Join us again at 13.00 BST for the all-important qualifying session.

Hamilton back in the pits and that is his session done. Not the fastest man in a practice session for the first time this weekend.

Vettel runs very wide as Hamilton asks his team where he needs to make up extra time.

Button still struggling and there are some worried looking faces in the pits. He is 11th fastest with a 1:22.382.

Jenson Button out on the soft compound tyres and about to start his flying lap.

Ferrari preparing to experiment with softs for the first time this session.

So the order with under ten minutes remaining is Webber, Hamilton, Vettel, Senna and Alonso.

Michael Schumacher is 16th but has completed more laps than anyone else. Experimenting with race set-up perhaps before qualifying.

So Webber the fastest man on track with a 1:21.550. He heads team-mate Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Bruno Senna.

Track temperature now at 41 degrees.

Maldonado puts a tyre on the grass and kicks up some dirt. He loses time but nothing more serious.

Senna now also out on the soft tyres. Raikkonen, Hamilton and Alonso yet to experiment on that compound.

Only Red Bull and Toro Rosso running on the soft tyres at present.

What of Jenson Button? He has completed 15 laps with a best of 1;24.318. It puts him 16th quickest.

Bruno Senna has gone fourth fastest He clocks a 1:21.876.

And Mark Webber goes quickest of all with a 1:21.550.

Alonso improves to a 1:22.754 but is going quicker still ...

So with half an hour remaining of FP3, Vettel heads Hamilton, Webber and Raikkonen on the lap times.

And Sebastian Vettel goes fastest with a 1:21.671.He has set that time with the soft compound tyres.

Only the Ferrari duo of Alonso and Massa are yet to set a time.
