END OF SESSION! A little mooted given the Perez shunt, but Grosjean will be happy with his morning's work.
1'
Bad time to do that - McLaren will be eager to get it into the garage as quick as possible and assess the damage. Lunch probably cancelled...
2'
That's in the tyre wall and the yellow flags are up.

PEREZ! Spins at turn 11, looked like a tyre touched the grass and it threw everything out. Might have damaged the car there.
4'
Hamilton only sixth, Rosberg eighth, but not a lot separating the drivers. Top 12 drivers within a second of Grosjean.

Top man now GROSJEAN! 1:20.730 - Perez into third, Vettel fourth - everyone now racing.
6'
Sutil, Raikkonen, Maldonado all follow but more than six-tenths down on Alonso, but here come some more drivers...

Sure enough Alonso sets a new benchmark time of 1:20.898.
8'
Expect a lift of as much as 1.5s on those lap times we've seen so far when the drivers try the softs.
9'
Like dominoes they all follow - Sutil, Raikkonen, Maldonado, on they come.
10'
Aha - here we go - Fernando Alonso breaks cover from the pits with the soft tyre.
11'
So far, nobody. Later than usual to get that quick run in...
12'
Rosberg now into the pits as well. Who's going to head out for a quick run on the option tyres?
13'
Everyone with the exception of Sauber's Gutierrez, still stranded in the pits, has now set a time.
14'
Everyone now in the pits barring Rosberg and Hulkenberg.
15'
Vettel locks up heavily trying to get down to the speed limit in the pit lane. The rules have been changed so he now has to go through at 80kph rather than 100kph.
16'
Rosberg jumps up the order - third with a 1:22.437.
17'
Grosjean ends a long run after wobbling off the road at turn 9.
18'
Interesting timesheets from Vettel - he's run consistently in the low-to-mid 1:25s for 13 laps. Others will take note of that showing on medium tyres.
