Sebastian Vettel is the fastest in practice for the second time at the Indian Grand Prix, and his leading time is 1:26.221 as he takes all the momentum into qualifying at the Buddh International Circuit near New Delhi. He finishes his run with a 1:31.2, which is a very good lap for a long run. His Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber is second fastest, with Fernando Alonso third in the timesheets.

There is now less than a minute left now as the teams wrap up their practice runs, and it's Vettel's to lose...
2'
Hamilton is again told that he is the fastest out on track at the moment, and he is giving it everything - he's only sixth fastest on the timesheets as things stand.
3'
Further encouragement for Hamilton: "You are currently the fastest car on high fuel!" We're into the final minutes now, and Vettel is leading the charge.
4'
Vettel remains quickest with his 1:26.221. Webber is also showing good pace now so it's hard to call.
5'
Raikkonen receives this feedback over the radio: "Your lap times are very good, Kimi, pace is good". He is currently fifth fastest behind Alonso and Rosberg in third and fourth.
6'
Pirelli: "Felipe Massa has damaged his set of soft tyres, so will now use his original set of hard tyres." His soft tyres are well and truly gone after that spin, then!
8'
Hamilton is told: "Your race pace is very good for this fuel load". He then backs off for a lap before setting a 1:32.351 - he's quicker than the Red Bulls and Ferraris at the moment.
10'
Alonso is immediately setting a good pace on his first few laps on this long run, and he looks to be thriving as he closes in.
12'
Vettel and Hamilton begin their long runs with solid, evenly-matched runs. The pair will be easing into this final push with the top 14 drivers all out on the track.
14'
Ferrari on Twitter: "Felipe Massa is back on track but he will do only practice starts in the last part of the session. Fernando Alonso is doing a long run on softs."
16'
A few of the drivers are beginning their longer runs now with just under 18 minutes remaining, and Ferrari are just hoping to "learn a few things" from Massa's latest foray.
18'
Vettel continues to top the timesheets with his 1:26.221, with Webber second and Alonso third. Rosberg and Raikkonen are looking for a second wind.
20'
Wow, would you believe this? Apparently Massa has been told to head out on the damaged hard tyres from earlier on - this could be very interesting indeed!
22'
Massa is out of the car and sat sipping fluids, so his session is well and truly over with his car jacked up.
24'
Webber sets a very quick time with a 1:26.339, but he will return to the pits very shortly now. Vettel and Alonso are also poised to head in.
26'
Alonso is pushing extremely hard, and he sets a time 0.101s faster than Vettel, before the Red Bull driver goes even quicker with a 1:26.211!
28'
Vettel is now fastest with a 1:26.921, 0.043s faster than Alonso, and this is going to be an absorbing battle between the two drivers.

Ferrari and Pirelli are inspecting Massa's tyres and it looks like one is flat - it seems as though the Brazilian is out of the session now.
