And there is the chequered flag. Looks like being another tough weekend for everybody not named Sebastian Vettel.

Things winding to a close now - Vettel looking strong again it seems.

Raikkonen on the radio: "my left front is completely done" - the softs not lasting long.

A mix of drivers out there on soft and mediums but nobody doing much on the timesheets.

Could be big problems for Williams who have had this problem before.

Scary scenes as a nut comes out of Maldonado's front right tyre and rolls along the track. Very dangerous but thankfully the car comes to a halt and the nut does no damage.

The Red Bulls struggling on the softs - seems to be a similar problem for most teams so not looking a great option for the race. Plenty of degradation on show.

Vettel has now come back out on the softs - Lewis Hamilton has also gone fourth with his first effort on the soft tyres with a 1m26.399s effort.

Vettel remains in the garage - Webber has gone in and is now back out again.

Alonso has just jumped from 12th to 4th but still +0.708 from Vettel.

Grosjean with a lap of 1m26.220s on the softs.. That puts him third just under half a second off Vettel's time

Jenson Button told by his team to wind up for one big timed lap and it is good enough for eight.

Rosberg third and Raikkonen fourth but nobody else is within a minute of Vettel.

Vettel back in the pits - his team-mate Webber has just done 1:26.011 to go second so Vettel's time still clearly the quickest.

1m25.722s. for Vettel on the softs - clear fastest of the day. His KERS has been fixed too which helps.

Raikkonen out on the soft tyres and was fast in the first part of the track before running wide - Vettel out now too and he has started fast.

The cars pulling into the pits now as the garages prepare to put the cars on softer tyres.

Rosberg now top of in the time sheets with 1:27.010 which is .001 ahead of Webber. Vetel has dropped to third. Cars looking good out there now.

Vettel improves to 1m27.059s despite having some KERS problems. Webber now up to second.

A good few drivers locking up in the early stages of this practice.
