Nope, Vettel can't better that and while he is second it is his team-mate Mark Webber who, after a dreadful FP3 a few hours ago, will take a fantastic pole.

Webber shaves some time off Vettel as he arrives in 1:37.242! He's top for now and can Hamilton catch him? No, he slows down into the final sector and will have to settle for third. Alonso now back in fourth. Can Vettel claim pole with his last lap?
1
Webber now dips under Vettel's time for sector one, with Hamilton behind him - and he knocks almost two tenths off that!
3
Time for the final shoot-out as everyone gets back out for their final burst....
5
Hamilton meanwhile is fifth as it sits Vettel-Alonso-Webber-Massa ahead of a mass pit stop.
6
But boom, here flies Vettel to stake his claim once more with 1:37.316. Super fast.
7
1:38.010 from Massa to get things started, but Alonso betters that with a 1:37.667, fastest lap of the day so far. He edges ahead of Webber, who is just behind now.
8
Rosberg is first to go for a timed lap, getting through sector one in 34.4s. Massa follows and is a shade quicker.
9
Everyone gets out nice and quickly as they see an opportunity on this quickening track.

The final 10-minute shoot-out is underway.

Button is undertstandably miffed at that Q2. Sounds a bit down on himself after locking up when it mattered.
-
So Button, Perez, Kobayashi, Di Resta, Maldonado, Ricciardi and Vergne eliminated from Q2. Vettel and Hamilton looking good, as is Alonso.

Yellow flags as Ricciardo has stopped... and Button is out. After a promising few FP runs he doesn't make Q3. Hamilton is alive though. Vettel heads the timesheets as expected, Alonso a very good second given the circumstances. Check the full timesheet to the left for the order.

Perez slides into the top 10, just behind the increasingly precarious Button. Who as I type is bounced down by Schumi! Button looks like he's going to miss out on Q3...
1
Hulkenberg bounces Button down to ninth - worrying for the Briton. Maldonado and Ricciardo are having a go now...
2
1:37.7 is what Vettel has and that is decided to be enough for him. What of Webber? He needs to stay out surely.
4
The bottom seven are all out early to try and force the issue. Alonso, Hamilton and leader Vettel don't need to fret, Button probably needs another go.
5
Frantic work as many of the drivers pit briefly ahead of their final bursts
7
Now everyone has posted a time we can see the shake up a bit better - fortunately for Button and Hamilton they are in the top 10. Indeed, Hamilton has suddenly picked up a great deal of speed and is third. He has a knack of just squeezing through.
