Webber comes in second to make it Red Bull one-two, with Rosberg in third and Hamilton fourth. Alonso ends up in fifth with Ferrari team-mate Massa in seventh and Grosjean in between. Raikkonen finishes eighth.

Hamilton's path is cleared slightly and he moves up to fourth place with a 1m38.332s.

Raikkonen goes fifth fastest, behind the Ferraris pair and the Red Bulls at the top.

Hamilton is in traffic for the time being as he asks his team: "Lots of cars around me, is Webber on a timed lap?"

Vettel hits back with an improvement of over a second to clock 1m37.881s and set a new benchmark!

Boom! With seven minutes left Webber improves once more with a 1m38.018s.

The track is getting busier now as time ticks towards the end of the session. Time to get serious.

Webber's time was not just the quickest of today but also the whole weekend so far.
