What a session. McLaren on top again - and they'll be strong favourites for the race. Red Bull stuck behind Mercedes once more, Lotus quick, Ferrari struggling. A fascinating race awaits us - join me for it at 09:00BST tomorrow (remember the clocks are changing tonight!)

The top 10 (after Raikkonen's penalty): Hamilton, Button, Schumacher, Webber, Vettel, Grosjean, Rosberg, Alonso, Raikkonen, Perez
-
Grosjean seventh. Hamilton doesn't need to finish his last lap - LEWIS IS ON POLE.
-
Vettel sixth! Button second to restore the McLarens to the front row!
-
Webber up to third, Raikkonen fourth!
-
Alonso beat Perez for 9th - that's those two places sorted. Now the battle ahead...

Webber's lost three-tenths in sector one already - a bad start as the session comes to a close.

Everyone out on track, but Mercedes are finsihed - Perez crosses for ninth - can Alonso nip ahead?
2'
Schumacher second! 1:36.391 - he doesn't have time to beat it but that could be his best qualifying since returning from retirement.
2'
Alonso and Perez head out. Everyone will set a time. Schumacher just two-tenths adrift after sector two. Rosberg recovered to finish third.
3'
Rosberg begins a quick lap but he's had a horrible start - looks like a flat spot at turn one, then wide at turn three! His lap is not going to trouble the leaders.
4'
Grosjean slots in to fifth, behind Webber in fourth. Vettel sixth now. McLaren had some pace up their sleeve, no doubt about it.
5'
Button two-tenths quicker than that, Hamilton FOUR-tenths quicker still! 1:36.219 - that's the gauntlet laid down!
6'
Raikkonen sets 1:36.837 - can anyone top that?
7'
Raikkonen's car bouncing around a bit as he pushes it to the limit. The Mercedes pair, Alonso and Perez yet to move.
8'
The big guns out: both McLarens, both Red Bulls, and now Romain Grosjean.
8'
@InsideFerrari say on Twitter that 'considering the situation, Felipe did a reasonable job today' - what do you think?
9'
The first man out is Kimi Raikkonen, opting for a medium tyre.
