"Please check those tyres and let me know. I want some feedback." Lewis Hamilton wants a full analysis of those tyres which have just been taken off his car - he's still unconvinced he needed to come in.

Hamilton seems to be puzzled about being called in.

"We're converting to Plan B!" comes the Mercedes message over the radio to Lewis Hamilton.

Now. Is this a strategy or is this a problem? Nico Rosberg is in the pits!

"Don't tell me any more!" squeals Nico Rosberg over the radio. He cares not to learn about the gap between him and his team-mate.

I can report that the debris has now been removed. Phew. Meanwhile, Vettel is seeing some blue flags and is grossly displeased. He's not enjoying his day, is he?

Hmm, a couple of the drivers are reporting debris at Turn 10. Wonder what that might be, and whether they're going to bring out the virtual safety car so it can be cleared.

The two Mercedes are separated by about two and a half seconds, and then there's a whacking 20-second gap between them and the leading Red Bull.

There's a big cheer as Carlos Sainz locks up into the corner and veers off into the grass, cutting the corner - and then allows Sergio Perez through right in front of the grandstand.

Rosberg did stay out there for a while, meaning his team-mate also had to delay his stop.

Jenson Button finally comes into the pits. He's the last one to stop.
