The top 10: Rosberg, Hamilton, Vettel, Webber, Raikkonen, Alonso, Perez, Sutil, Button, Vergne

Can Mercedes make a pole position stick this time? It's thought that tyres should not wear in the same way here - so Rosberg must surely start as favourite for tomorrow's race.

Rosberg is ecstatic! Finger-waving the whole way through his in-lap! Three poles in a row for him.

Vettel only third, Webber fourth!

HAMILTON QUICKEST! NO! IT'S ROSBERG! 1:13.876 just 0.91 ahead of his rival.

Raikkonen jumps to third, Webber going quicker - 1:14.181 is the new pole!!

The order before these laps: Vettel, Webber, Rosberg, Hamilton, Alonso, Raikkonen, Button, Perez, Vergne, Sutil

All 10 cars on the track. Everyone with something to prove, something to fight for. This is how qualifying should be.

This lap from Hamilton won't trouble the timesheets, but he should get another in. Vettel emerges only now from the pits - he'll squeeze in just the one lap.

New tyres all round, and with track position being crucial in Monaco, these last runs will shape tomorrow's race.

And this is where McLaren are being exposed in the dry... Button down the field now with a 1:15.7 - good enough for seventh, just ahead of Perez.

At the halfway point of the session Vettel has swept in with a 1:14.333!

Webber up to a 1:14.726 - last year's champion here looking sharp. Rosberg up to second, Hamilton third.

Everyone has in fact come out and set a time now - so our top 10 is this: Webber, Hamilton, Alonso, Vergne, Button, Perez, Vettel, Sutil, Rosberg.

But Webber takes a further six-tenths off that!

1:15.790 from Hamilton - THAT IS QUICK.

Raikkonen through sector two - Hamilton, behind him, is going faster.

Raikkonen will be the first driver in the convoy to set a time. From the looks of things, Button holding back in the pits, but he's the exception to the rule.
