2.3 seconds the gap between Vettel and Button now - will he look to pass on the track or is he about to make a stop?
10/61
Button really on the move now - he pulled back 1.9 seconds in the last lap alone on Vettel.
9/61
Soft tyres for Webber - he's 20th for now, one place ahead of Pic.
9/61
Webber first of the top men into the pits, coming in from seventh - can he find a decent pocket of space on the track to gain some time?

"@Mark_Eurosport Hamilton 1st, Alonso 2nd, Vettel 3rd, Button 4th and Maldonado 5th. #F1 #SingaporeGrandPrix" predicts Drean Steenberg on Twitter. Anyone disagree?

'Felipe - you're pushing too hard and destroying the tyres' - that's a disheartening message for the man right at the back of the field.
7/61
Webber pushing hard for a way past di Resta, but apart from that thigns are fairly static in the top 10.
7/61
Button just starting to pick up his pace after a slow start. The gap to Vettel no longer increasing.
7/61
Common sense prevails - no action taken for the drivers who took the escape road - they had little other option.
6/61
Massa has a new target - go for a longer stop, he's told - 16 laps longer than planned.
6/61
Mercedes, as we've seen on a few occasions this season, slow in the early stages. Rosberg in ninth holding up a train of cars behind him, headed by team-mate Michael Schumacher.
5/61
Jenson Button not keeping pace at all at present - he's five seconds adrift of Vettel already. That does mean that Fernando Alonso is losing ground on the leaders in fifth.
4/61
Hamilton getting to the first corner first is a big help, but having Vettel on his tail is not quite what he'd have preferred. As it stands, Vettel just out of the DRS zone.
4/61
Grosjean has lost his telemetry information, and is going around a little 'blind' as a result.
4/61
Hamilton posts a 1:56.779 which is the early fastest lap of the race.
3/61
Webber, Rosberg, Senna and Glock all went on to the escape road. We'll see what action is taken.
2/61
Stewards are investigating the cars using the escape lane at the first two corners. Rosberg was amongst them, and at first glance it seemed they just ran out of room. The question will be whether they then gained places.
2/61
Left-rear puncture for Massa - he makes it into the pit stop, has the tyre changed, and his suspension is given a once over as well for good measure.
2/61
What's happened to Massa? It looks like he's dropped well back the field as well.
2/61
To make matters worse for Caterham, it's Petrov's team-mate Heikki Kovalainen who hit him. Is there race all but over before it began?

No, not quite - someone has had a shunt - Vitaly Petrov is limping around the back of the field without his front wing.
