SEBASTIAN VETTEL WINS!! He holds on, beating Lewis Hamilton by six tenths of a second! Jenson Button third, Webber fourth, Alonso fifth, Schumacher sixth and Rosberg seventh.

Final lap, and this has been a superbly controlled drive by Sebastian Vettel, who just needs to keep cool for another few corners...

Everyone has been lapped up to and including Fernando Alonso, by the way... it's just not happening for Hamilton.

Down the start-finish straight again - no dice for Vettel. Hamilton locks up and this is not looking good for him.

Vettel has just over half a second on Hamilton, and that is just enough to stay in front.

Once again, Hamilton just cannot get near Vettel down the start-finish straight...

Massa is off! He was struggling terribly and pulls off the track. End of a miserable race for the Brazilian.

As far as the battle for third goes, Button is two seconds ahead of Webber. He is on a three-stop strategy so he might be vulnerable...

Again, Vettel does well to hold off Hamilton down the start-finish straight. Alonso's tyres are shot, but Ferrari say they want him to nurse the car through the remaining seven laps.

Hamilton's team tell him to use all his KERS on the start/finish straight, but he cannot get close enough. They also say he can use the 'yellow button' if he likes - whatever that is...

This is great stuff - Hamilton all over the back of Vettel. He can't, can he?

Hamilton is right on Vettel's gearbox as the leaders lap Schumacher.

Lua Mes comments: 'Pirelli tyres are not as good as the Bridgestone.­ Otherwise they would last longer without 3-4 or even 5­ stops in a race.' Well, no, they're not - but they were designed to deteriorate more quickly and they are doing that job extremely well. It has certainly been a major factor in this year's increased excitement.

Fernando Alonso has dropped right off the pace, and it is Button versus Webber for third place.

No sign of the safety car - yellow flags still out, but the marshals have the Kovalainen situation under control.

Heikki Kovalainen deposits his Lotus in a tyre wall. He is absolutely fine, but the yellow flags are out and the car may need a winch out of there...

Red Bull continue to chat to Vettel about his KERS. An elaborate bluff, or do they genuinely have it?
