It's a Mercedes front-row lock-out in Barcelona, with Lewis Hamilton pipping Nico Rosberg to pole in the end, with Daniel Ricciardo third. Sebastian Vettel, meanwhile, starts down in 15th - expect him to come out roaring.

Rosberg says he'd have given overtaking a good go had he had one more lap, and describes himself as "a bit gutted".

Hamilton says he has no complaints about the pit stops, and that Rosberg was quicker today. A gracious response, but there'll be discussions within his team this week, one suspects.

'God Save The Queen' plays, and Lewis Hamilton, who's clearly more than a little disgruntled, looks to be calming down a touch.

The three drivers on the podium guzzle their water, and Hamilton mutters to Rosberg that he had problems with the car throughout.

Hamilton's team congratulate him over the radio and admit it was a touch "close for comfort".

Bottas is in fifth, and Fernando Alonso waves to the crowd as he secures sixth ahead of his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen. There's an eighth place - and first points of the season - for Grosjean, with Perez in ninth and Hulkenberg tenth.

What an exciting race, and Hamilton has driven brilliantly to hold that win from his team-mate. Daniel Ricciardo takes third place ahead of his own team-mate Sebastian Vettel in fourth - he's done fantastically to make it there.

Rosberg gets a lock-up there on the turn, giving Hamilton a bit of space.

Hamilton wants to concentrate on the race as he moves into the final lap, and tells his team so. Raikkonen moves to the side to let those Mercedes cars past.

Everyone's on their feet as the two Ferraris race down the straight, with Raikkonen just 0.3 seconds ahead of Alonso.
