LAP 66/66 – VERSTAPPEN CLAIMS VICTORY!
Magic from Max as he takes a maximum 25 points in Barcelona. A victory over Hamilton of around 24 seconds with George Russell holding off Sergio Perez for third place.
Verstappen led from start to finish. Just too strong. A third Spanish GP victory and he is 53 points clear of Sergo Perez in the World Championship. "We delivered," said Verstappen. "A pretty good weekend."

LAP 64/66 – MAX TOLD TO PLAY IT SAFE
World champion told by his team to stay within the white lines for the closing laps of this race to avoid a penalty. "Yeah, yeah," says Max as he surges 20 seconds clear of Hamilton with another blistering lap.

Yuki Tsunoda walloped with a five-second penalty for forcing Zhou to leave the track. He is in P9 at moment and could drop of out the points because of that penalty.

Only problem today for Max has been those pesky track limits. Has exceeded them three times with latest episode on Turn 10.
Facing a five-second penalty if he does so again. 18 seconds ahead of Lewis so won't matter too much.

Zhou Guanyu and Yuki Tsunoda avoid colliding on Turn One as Zhou attempted to go past Tsundo, who isn't content to pass up his position. "He pushed me off, man!" bellows Zhou.

Max warned for a second time for using track limits. He went wide at Turn Five and has been deemed to exceed limits at Nine. One more warning and he risks picking up a time penalty.

Despite the threat overhead, Mercedes are not expecting any rain before the close of play today. But we didn't expect much to fall last week in Monaco and look what happened. Verstappen is 16 seconds ahead of Hamilton.

Incredible piece of driving by Max today so far. Has led from start to finish and has eased 15 seconds clear of Hamilton, who is leading the chasing pack for second spot. Lewis told by his team he doesn't want to overdo it as he bids to consolidate his standing.

LAP 37/66 – RUSSELL INTO THE PODIUM POSITIONS
That is a lovely piece of driving as he undoes Sainz with a supreme piece of overtaking to take third in Barca. Brilliant from George. "Solid work," he is told by his team. "Just solid? " he answers. Hamilton around seven seconds clear of Russ.

George Russell trying to work out the difference between beads of sweat and the skies overhead.
"Is anyone else reporting rain? I think it's the sweat from the inside of my helmet," he says.
His engineer quickly eases the tension: "Sounds like just you that's reporting rain. I suspect it might be sweat."
