It's going to be a very odd weekend in what's been a surprisingly dramatic season bearing in mind the Mercedes dominance.

Well, Rosberg had no problems at all there. It looked very simple for him, getting quicker and quicker as the day progressed.

Bottas and Massa are in third and fourth, with Daniel Ricciardo in fifth and Fernando Alonso in sixth.

So Rosberg leads in Q2 after Hamilton's prompt exit, recording a 1:36.290. Sutil goes ninth-fastest and shunts Perez back down to 11th, and Maldonado can only get himself as high as tenth.
