Good afternoon, all, and welcome to our LIVE coverage of qualifying for the US Grand Prix. So we have, like, a handful of cars still competing after the withdrawals of Caterham and Marussia; and we already know Sebastian Vettel will be starting from the pits. It's going to be a very odd weekend in what's been a surprisingly dramatic season bearing in mind the Mercedes dominance.

So Rosberg leads in Q2 after Hamilton's prompt exit, recording a 1:36.290. Sutil goes ninth-fastest and shunts Perez back down to 11th, and Maldonado can only get himself as high as tenth.
