With no chance of things calming down any time soon, organisers have decided that the standings for Q2 will stand - and that leaves Nico Rosberg on pole, with Hamilton second.

Just hearing that Q3 HAS BEEN CANCELLED!

"It's not worth it now," Button adds.

"It's on the limit, definitely," says Jenson Button. "You don't know when things are going to break away... you're not in control at all."

The safety car has been dandering round seeing if they can go ahead any time soon. Looks like they'll need things to ease off a bit - with the drivers complaining bitterly, there will be major trouble if they're sent out and somebody crashes.

Just hearing that the start of Q3 has been delayed.

"These are red flag conditions!" fumes Sebastian Vettel as he comes into the pits as the session comes to an end. The Ferrari driver is fifth quickest going in to Q3, with Rosberg taking those Q2 honours by a tenth from Hamilton.

Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button in 11th and 14th respectively, with two minutes left. Bottas also outside the top 10 and he's currently trying one more flying lap.

Raikkonen has also just spun off the track, down at turn 11. One tiny slip and there's trouble here today. We could have an amazing Q3.

The two Mercedes cars are within a tenth of each other, and over a second and a half clear of the field.... but Lewis Hamilton has just had a complete 360-degree spin!

Daniel Ricciardo was quickest in Q1, for what it's worth - no big surprises about the cars who failed to make it into Q2.

Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel have just gone quicker - they're the first two cars under two minutes... but moments later, Rosberg and Hamilton go a little quicker.

Q2 is only just under way, but with a fresh deluge expected to his any second there are a number of cars out on the circuit already. Nico Rosberg is currently fastest as things stand.
