Dajana Eitberger picked the perfect time for her first ever World Cup win as she was crowned European champion following victory in Sochi, Russia.
With the last World Cup event of the season doubling up as the European Championship, Eitberger arrived with her best result being a bronze.
But that all changed as the German came home in 1:40.510 minutes for her maiden World Cup victory and therefore crowning her as European champion.
Tatiana Ivanova was in the lead after the first heat, but ended up with bronze after the second run.
And squeezed in between was German Natalie Geisenberger as she came home 0.010 seconds behind compatriot Eitberger.
Geisenberger ended the World Cup campaign sitting pretty atop the standings on 1080 points, with Eitberger second on 851 and fellow German Tatjana Hufner third on 727 after she was fifth in Sochi.
