Honda's Marc Marquez has endured a difficult season so far after nine MotoGP races, scoring just 15 points in the world championship for 2023. However, he continues to be linked with a switch to rival team KTM if they can accommodate all the riders on their slate. However Marquez said ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix that he is in no rush to decide.

Honda’s Marc Marquez has said there is “no rush” to “talk about the future” as speculation persists over a move to KTM in 2025.
Marquez is an eight-time world champion but with just 15 points on the board so far this season, there are suggestions he could leave the outfit in 2024.
His current contract is up next year, but there is a complication over any proposed move to KTM given they currently have five riders on the slate for four spaces, and would require further rides in order to accommodate everyone.
That might leave Marquez with little option but to remain at HRC, who are set to test next season’s prototype at Misano in September.
“The rumours of 2024 are still not finished,” Marquez told press on Thursday ahead of the Austrian GP.
“Every week is a different rumour, so don’t start with 2025! Joking aside, of course, in Misano the new bike will arrive and we will continue to work.
“But [there’s] no rush for the future. It’s important to understand the level of the bikes, my level, because always I’m pushing myself.
“But still in this second half of the season in 2023 I need to work on myself and improve my level, to try to avoid these mistakes in the first part. Then we will talk about the future.”
Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) leads the rider standings after nine GPs, with his four wins and six podiums helping him to a total of 214 points.
Jorge Martin (Ducati) sits second, while Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati) is in third.
Aleix Espargaro won the most recent GP, at Silverstone on August 6.
