Anselmi claims pole in Sicily

Abarth 695 Assetto Corse driver Luca Anselmi claimed pole position for the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe race at the Pergusa circuit in Sicily.
Anselmi set a fastest lap time with an average speed of 151.06 km/h around the winding lakeside track with overall championship leader Niklas Lilja settling for second on the grid.
Alex Campani went third quickest while among the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse, Franco Cimarelli was fastest.
The lights for Sunday's first race go out in the morning, with race two scheduled for the afternoon.
Pergusa is hosting simultaneously the fifth event of the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe and the National ACI/CSAI Abarth Selenia Trophy Italy.
