France 27-12 Uruguay: Rugby World Cup hosts overcome dogged South American opponents to claim second win of tournament
France beat Uruguay 27-12 at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille to make it two wins from two in the Rugby World Cup. Fabien Galthie made 12 changes to his team following their 37-13 win over New Zealand in their opening match of the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Next up for France is a match against Namibia next Thursday. Uruguay face Italy next Wednesday and then Namibia the week after.
