Ireland 59-16 Tonga: Johnny Sexton breaks Ronan O’Gara's points record as Irish cruise to Rugby World Cup Pool B win

Johnny Sexton became Ireland’s all-time leading points scorer when surpassing Ronan O’Gara in a scintillating World Cup bonus-point victory over Tonga.

A final try of the night for Ireland, and it’s prop Herring whose try definitely counts this time after he intercepts the line-out and goes over. Byrne adds the final two of the night.

The camera cuts to Irish fans as the tannoy blasts out “I will survive!” Why, I’m not so sure, but it makes for a fun final few minutes for the sea of green inside this stadium.
