Latvian skeleton legend Martins Dukurs clinched his sixth IBSF World Championships gold medal with a stunning performance in Whistler.
It was a masterclass from Dukurs who won all four runs on his way to gold in Canada setting a new track record on his second run.
So dominant was the 34-year-old that he finished with a mammoth 0.51 seconds over eventual runner up, Russia’s Nikita Tregubov.
South Korea's reigning Olympic champion Yun Sung-bin could only muster a third-place finish coming home 0.88 seconds back.
Martins' older bother, Tomass finished in fifth while this year’s World Cup winner Alexander Tretyakov was down in sixth.
