Eva Pinkelnig claims second straight ski jump victory in Villach, Katharina Althaus and Nika Kriznar complete podium

After winning World Cup gold on Wednesday, Eva Pinkelnig was once again on the top step of the podium after a second victory in Villach. She secured 130.7 points at the halfway stage after a jump of 94.5m, before earning 129.5 points with a second leap of 94.5m. Her total of 260.2 points, saw her finish above Katharina Althaus (254.6) and Nika Kriznar (251.1).

Eva Pinkelnig claimed ski jump victory for a second straight day in Villach thanks to another commanding display on home snow.
The 34-year-old was victorious in the first of two World Cup events at the Austrian ski resort on Wednesday, leading after the qualification jump and ultimately finishing 9.5 points ahead of Anna Odine Stroem in second.
And the Austrian once again proved too strong with two consistent jumps seeing her take a second gold in the space of two days.
Pinkelnig was ahead after the qualification round, with her jump of 94.5m helping her achieve a total of 130.7 points at the halfway stage.
A second leap of 94.5m saw her earn 129.5 points for her second jump and finish on a total of 260.2, over five points clear of the rest of the field.
Katharina Althaus finished in second with a total of 254.6 points, while Nika Kriznar took bronze with 251.1 points.
Back-to-back victories mean that Pinkelnig is now top of the World Cup standings, holding 536 points after competition in Villach.
The Austrian sits ahead of Althaus who is currently second on 449 points, while Silje Opseth holds third spot and Kriznar trails just behind in fourth.
