The German Masters final will be a clash between Ali Carter and Tom Ford. Both players have likely lost some length off their fingernails, as each had to win final-frame deciders in their semi-finals at the Tempodrom in Berlin. 'Stylishly made' - Watch as Tom Ford makes break of 104 to edge ahead against Jack Lisowski

Tom Ford has conceded he was fortunate to get over the line against Jack Lisowski, but will look to cash in when he takes on Ali Carter in the final of the German Masters on Sunday.
Ford produced some of the most polished snooker of the week to move into a 5-3 lead, Robert Milkins' break-building exploits aside, and looked well set to advance to the final at the Tempodrom.
Spurred on by a big crowd in Berlin, Lisowski took frames nine and 10 to set up a thrilling decider.
Lisowski got in first, with Ford fearful that his one shot in the decider would be the break that chipped out a red to hand his opponent a chance.
It looked good for Lisowski as he picked off some fine pots in crafting a break of 52, but he was unfortunate to drop awkward on a colour.
He shook off the disappointment of failing to convert by leaving Ford in a fiendish snooker.
After assessing his options, Ford went for the tried-and-tested option of throwing his cue at the ball in hope.
It paid off to an extent, as although he did not fluke a red, he left Lisowski with a devilish cut to the bottom left.
Lisowski was never going to turn it down, it is not his style. The ball did not drop and Ford stepped in with a clearance of 63 to claim victory and move to within one win of a maiden title.
“He ran out of position going up for a baulk colour and landed right behind the brown,” Ford said, reflecting on the events of the final frame. “We knew what was going to happen then.
“I was lucky. I just had to have a hit and hope. I couldn’t land on a red. I left him a red and he missed it. He is going to be kicking himself.”

Ford said his belief grew as the match progressed.
“I felt good towards the end,” Ford said. “Normally, when the matches go longer, you don’t feel as good. I actually fancied clearing up when I got in.”
Lisowski’s search for a maiden title continues, but Ford has the chance to get his hands on a piece of silverware.
“It would be great to win tomorrow,” Ford said. “I didn’t start the season well, then I managed to get to the UK Championship semi-finals. I gave Ding a 5-0 start and started playing.
“Hopefully, I can get off to a good start tomorrow and take the trophy home for my little one.”
