Michael Holt pulled off the best win of his career with a 5-3 win over Ronnie O'Sullivan to move through to the last 16 of the Malta Cup. Holt - who had never previously beaten O'Sullivan - held his nerve to move through to a clash against Mark King.

O'Sullivan, who won the Masters event at Wembley last week, loooked off-colour and a little disinterested but moved in to a 2-1 lead with a break of 69 in the third.
Holt capitalised on an O'Sullivan mistake with a break of 76 to move in to the lead for the first time, and despite showing some nerves in the final stretch, held on for a fine victory.
"I'm chuffed, Ronnie is a great player so it's good to beat him any time," said a delighted Holt.
"I've been working on the mental side of the game and trying to handle things better because I'm not achieving what I can.
"I'm not afraid of winning and I've always said that I can beat anyone if I'm playing well.
"In the past there have been times when it has looked like I can't get over the winning line, but that's because I've got wrapped up in myself."
Holt's next opponent King moved through to the last 16 after beating Barry Hawkins 5-1 in a scrappy match.
In Wednesday's other game, Allister Carter moved in to the quarter-finals after coming from 2-0 down to beat Marco Fu 5-2
