World number one Ronnie O'Sullivan crashed out of the UK Championship on Saturday, going down 9-8 to Mark King in his opening match in York. Three-time winner O-Sullivan came from 8-6 behind to force a decider, but King held his nerve to book a third-roun

Struggling to find any consistency, O'Sullivan sat with a towel over his head for the majority of the contest, and was warned by referee Alan Chamberlain for conceding the 11th frame early.
But King kept his concentration, firing a winning break of 46 in the final frame to secure the victory.
"He played right-handed, left-handed and put a towel over his head, but that didn't bother me," said King after the win.
"I played good. I missed a red at 8-6 in front, and at 8-7 I twitched, but I thought if I got in during the last frame and got a good break I'd win.
"Maybe he put the wet towel on his head because it was hot in the arena, but I think it might have been because I was putting him under pressure."
Elsewhere, world champion Shaun Murphy moved into the third round with a tight 9-7 victory over Nigel Bond.
"I felt I played really well," said Murphy, who faces Australian Neil Robertson next.
"I've had serious dental surgery recently and that's affected my vision, so to come through this match is brilliant."
