‘There ain’t much to see anyway’ - Gilbert jokes with crowd after wardrobe malfunction

David Gilbert went into the interval of the third session of his World Championship semi-final clash against Kyren Wilson with much to ponder after slipping two frames behind.
After faltering for the first time in the match, Gilbert had 15 minutes to get back on track.
Players are creatures of habit, and likely have a set routine. Some go to the practice table, some speak to a coach or confidant, while a bite to eat or a beverage are options for others.
It also offers the chance to take a bathroom break - albeit so many players leave the table between frames in the modern era that it is not as important as it used to be.
There is a fair chance that Gilbert took a pitstop in the bathroom at the Crucible on Friday evening. The tell-tale sign being that his flies were undone.
Gilbert was stalking the table in the 21st frame when he peered down and noticed a problem.
Adjusting his trousers in the blink of an eye, Gilbert could have styled it out.
Instead, he opted to let the Crucible know what had gone on.

“There ain’t much to see anyway,” Gilbert quipped, to laughter from those in attendance.
