GAME, SET AND MATCH! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-6 6-1 HURKACZ
Djokovic survives the scare to fly through the latter part of the decider, serving out to 30 to claim victory in two hours and five minutes.
As first alternate Hubie gave it a real go, but it’s now all eyes on Rune v Sinner. If the Dane wins, then Nole is out. If Sinner prevails, then Djoker will progress as Green Group runner-up.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-6 5-1 HURKACZ
The Ace machine strikes again – but this time even that sensational serve can’t fend off Nole.
Hurkacz stares down the barrel after coughing up two break points, but a trio of aces put him in charge at deuce.
Djokovic resists and when a third BP comes along, Hubie arcs a forehand wide and that will be that.
The World No.1 will now serve for the match with the insurance of the double break.

The Serbinator is locked in and charges through to consolidate.
Hard to see a way back for Hubie now.

It’s a loose couple of points from Hurkacz and that usually spells trouble against someone of Djokovic’s ilk.
The Serb caresses a pass down the line to tee up two break points and this time there’s a surge of relief as the World Nop.1 makes it count!

A blink and you’ll miss it hold for Djokovic keeps him in front on the board early on in this decider.

Hurkacz rockets down more aces to take his tally to 20 and level matters despite throwing a sixth double fault into the mix.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-6 1-0 HURKACZ
A controlled smash at the second attempt and a clutch volley at the net light the way for the Serb as he opens Set 3 with a comfortable game to 15.
Regardless of this result, Djokovic will now need Sinner to beat Rune tonight to reach the last four. If the Dane wins, the World No.1 will bow out.

GOOD NEWS FOR JANNIK SINNER!
The fact Djoker hasn't won in straight sets means whatever the permutations are, the Italian will be in the semi finals this weekend.

SET! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-6 HURKACZ
The Hurk shrugs off his double fault of the match, lashing down a massive second serve and another unreturn-able to tee up a couple of set points.
Nole engages him in a rally on the first of them but sizzles just long and Hurkacz levels up to take us into a breaker.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 4-5 HURKACZ
It’s a mixed bag from the 24-time Grand Slam champion as he lets a 30-0 lead slip but a couple of one-two punches to either flank edge him through to pose the serve-out question.

Talk about clutch serving – and it’s a great escape for the Pole!
Hurkacz is in charge of the opening point when a ball is called out and they have to replay it. He goes on to fire a forehand just wide and begins to unravel with a double fault and a tight backhand into the net.
Djokovic has two break back points but can’t do anything about them as Hurkacz nails three aces in a row before playing his get of jail free card with a simple smash at the net.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 3-4 HURKACZ
Nole stops the mini rot of points against him, unleashing a lot of frustration in a gorgeous, deep forehand down the line en route to a game to 30.

Too good. Hurkacz fires down the hammer and roars through to consolidate to love.

BREAK! - DJOKOVIC 7-6 2-3 HURKACZ
Wow -where did that come from?
Djokovic makes a mess of a volley into the net and from there it’s all about the Hubie return. His attacking policy does indeed finally pay off as he slams down a smash and then unloads a massive return to tee up triple break point.
Djokovic can’t respond and a double fault provides a sudden twist to the proceedings.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 2-2 HURKACZ
The Hurk clocks up a 12th ace and races level with a hold to love.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 2-1 HURKACZ
It’s a similar problem for Hurkacz too as he isn’t making any impact on the Djoker serve.
The Pole’s main hope is to keep going for broke with his groundstrokes and pray that a succession of attempts come up trumps.
It doesn’t happen here and Novak breezes to the game to 15.

DJOKOVIC 7-6 1-1 HURKACZ
The tie-break was imperious but now there's more frustration for Djokovic on the return. He’s been very business-like today and barely smiles despite a wonderful rally that ends with The Hurk producing a clutch, slice volley at the net.
The Pole fires down Ace 11 but double faults for 30-30. There’s a window of opportunity for the World No.1 but Hubie refuses to let him through and the underdog enjoys a timely boost as he drags himself on to the board.
