GAME, SET AND MATCH MURRAY - Andy Murray is a 6-3 7-6 (7-4) winner over Victor Troicki. Some fine play by the Scotsman in the breaker. Murray took an hour to finish off the match in his favour. He will face Kevin Anderson in the final from 2pm this afternoon. Bidding to win this title at Queen's for a fourth time.

Murray 6-6 Troicki - And we head for the breaker. Murray was 30-0 up on the Troicki serve, but a rousing recovery from the Serbian in the shades as a few timely aces and punishing ground strokes extends his stay in this contest.

Murray 6-5 Troicki - Games continue on serve. Troicki needs to hold serve to force the tie-break otherwise this match is over. Crowd sensing the moment for Murray.

Murray 4-4 Troicki - BREAK MURRAY! What a pity for Troicki. Those sunglasses obviously not having the best effect as he ends up dumping a volley into the net from close range trailing 30-40. Should never be missing that. Suddenly the momentum back with the Scot.
12:54
Murray 3-4 Troicki - Much better service game from Murray. Much better. No points dropped and now he will look to get his teeth into the Troicki serve.
12:51
Murray 2-4 Troicki - Games on serve in this second set until Troicki breaks boosted by sending a double-handed backhand winner down the line. His opponent then holds to consolidate the break. Is this match heading for a deciding set? Looks like it.

PLAY SUSPENDED FOR THE DAY - The results are in. And we can reveal… that the decision is… to suspend play for the day. That’s a nuisance. A reminder: Troicki - who is nursing an injured arm - will face break point when the match (hopefully) resumes at 3-3 in the first set. Until tomorrow, farewell.

The weather council will meet to discuss the conditions at 6:45pm UK time. It is absolutely TEEMING it down though.

WEATHER UPDATE – It's still drizzly in London and, more disappointingly, light is fading fast. Not a good advert for Britain as a holiday destination, with the longest day of the year pencilled in for tomorrow...

THE RAIN RETURNS – A Mexican wave of umbrellas popping open starts, those to the left of the stadium reacting to the splash first. Sad times. Murray and Troiki return to the dressing room.

The warm-up commences. How’s that shoulder, Viktor? He’s moving fine currently, although Murray is being gentle with him.
17:35
Phew. The weather gods have had their fun (for now), although ominous gloomy clouds are hovering above. Fear this contest could become rather stop-start. Still, it’s all good practice ahead of Wimbledon. The players are set to return in the next few moments…

RAIN STOPS PLAY – The good news: after a lengthy stoppage, Troicki wanders back onto the court and looks alright to battle on. The bad news: the Serb isn’t a fan of light spitting from the clouds above – unsurprising, given he’s just wrecked his shoulder – and returns to his chair. The crisis council is summoned. The covers are coming out… Play suspended.

TROICKI INJURY – This is ridiculous. Murray earns 0-30 with an outrageous shot down the line at full stretch. He vents a bit of Scottish anger as he fluffs the following point, but he soon has two break points at 15-40. He wastes them both – the first prompting a scream of “Nooooo!”, the second a dissatisfied shake of the head. Three more chances go begging in deuce. Surely Troicki can’t escape? Murray fashions a sixth break point, leaving the Serb on the floor. Troicki writhes around on turf, clutching his shoulder. It doesn’t look good…
-
Murray 3-3 Troicki – Comfortable game for Mr Murray. Time to make inroads into the Troicki serve?
-
Murray 2-3 Troicki – Murray bounces his racquet into the ground, although it’s an act borne out of pretend frustration after his near-impossible forehand nearly finds the court. Troicki holds.
-
Murray 2-2 Troicki – Cute as you like. Murray flicks on ‘showboat mode’ as Troicki balloons a forehand into the London sky, feigning a smash before delicately shifting the ball over the net. The Serb responds with a beautifully constructed point for 40-30, but Murray wraps up the game in the next.
-
Murray 1-2 Troicki – Murray’s gaze shoots to his camp as he fires another forehand into the net. Don’t think it’s their fault, Andy. That gives Troicki 40-30, with the Serb thumping down an ace to take the game. Still on serve.
-
Murray 1-1 Troicki – Well, that was simple. Murray holds to 15, aided by a healthy amount of first serves.
-
Murray 0-1 Troicki – Murray gets a peak at 40-30, but sends a tame backhand into the net to concede the game. He lets out his first grimace. Probably won’t be the last.
