"To win here for a fifth time means a lot to me," says Murray. "Obviously [it was] a good first week back together [with Lendl] and thanks to my whole team over there."

MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 6-3 RAONIC: Raonic serves to stay in the tournament but Murray edges in front at 30-15. Now a superb return into the feet of Raonic brings up a match point. Murray indulges himself with a lob but Raonic smashes it back past him. Another match point, another lob, another smash. Okay Andy, enough of that now. Raonic opens up an advantage with an ace but Murray brings him back to deuce with a driving passing shot which clips the baseline. BUT THERE IT IS! MURRAY WINS QUEEN’S FOR A FIFTH TIME!

MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 5-3 RAONIC: Judy Murray watches on as her son moves into a 30-15 lead. A huge ace to the Raonic backhand is Murray’s fifth of the match and he moves to within one game of the tournament with a feathery drop shot from the back of the court. Perfect.

MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 4-3 RAONIC: Pretty uneventful stuff as the Canadian holds his serve. He is really coming to regret that break in the opening game of the set. He needs a break back, and soon.
-
MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 4-2 RAONIC: Murray powers a forehand right into the corner and Raonic can barely even twitch a muscle in response. It’s 30-0 on the Scot’s serve but Raonic battles back with a tough rally which Murray brings to an end with a sliced backhand into the net. A carbon copy forehand has Raonic stationary again and Murray finishes him off with an ace.
-
MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 3-2 RAONIC: This is better from Raonic. He looks imperious on serve again, opening up a 40-0 lead with some big ones. Murray shows some resistance but Raonic works him hard and puts the game away with an overhead.

Andy Murray was never gonna give up in that second set, was he?
-
MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 3-1 RAONIC: Raonic has no answer at the moment. Murray is serving well and executing his groundstrokes with panache. A thumped forehand into space makes it 30-0 on the Murray serve and a flailing Raonic backhand then clatters into the net. Murray lets one slide but holds on to win it to 15.

MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 2-1 RAONIC: Murray is just unstoppable at the moment. As Raonic comes to the net, Murray lands a lovely backhand shot at his feet and the big Canadian can’t stoop down quick enough to get it back over the net. Raonic clings on to win the next two points though and make it 30-15; now a booming ace; now a comfortable serve-and-volley manoeuvre. That’s 2-1.
-
MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 2-0 RAONIC: Murray is in punchy mood and is enforcing his superiority, drawing on all that extra experience. It’s 40-15 on serve but an unforced error sees the Scot fire one out. He responds with an ace which catches the line to send chalk up in the air. He’s now won eight of the last nine games.

MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 1-0 RAONIC: Raonic in more trouble. The certainty of his serve which we saw in the first set has deserted him. Murray has a break point at 30-40 and on the second serve embroils Raonic in an epic rally before outfoxing him with a perfect drop shot. A third break for the Scot, who is now favourite.

MURRAY 6-7 (6) 6-4 RAONIC: The world number two just has to hold his nerve here to take this to a third set. Murray wins the first point but then cedes the second when rattling one into the net on the stretch on the forehand side. Two more points make it 40-15 and the set is Murray’s when Raonic drifts a weak one down the line. Set, and what a comeback.
